1. Register

In order to join or create a Lot (Product/Service) you need to register on ComeLetsBuy. It's easy and FREE !

Simply click on the Register link at the top of any page and complete the registration form.

You will be asked to provide a valid email address for verification purposes. Choose a Username as your identity on ComeLetsBuy, and a password, preferably one that you do not use on any other internet site.

Simply follow the instructions on the confirmation email recieved from us to start using our platform as a buyer.

2. Find a Lot

All the latest Lots are displayed on ComeLetsBuy’s homepage. If you wish to look for a more specific item, you can enter item information either as exact details with specific model/item description e.g. "Samsung X120 Laptop" or you can enter a general search such as "Jamie Oliver Gadgets" or "Car park tickets" or "Electric Showers" or "iPhone chargers".

ComeLetsBuy allows multiple ways, described below, to help you search our website for available buyer generated Lots or supplier(merchant) generated Lots..

Join the Lot: On the homepage, in the Participants section, you can type in the item information and price (optional) that you are looking for.

General Search: Easy access search box is always available at the top right hand corner of every page on the website allowing you to do a quick search from anywhere in the website.

Advanced Search: In case you want to search for a specific type of item, you can click on Advanced Search at the top of every page. Follow the instructions to delimit your search to (Category, Price Range, Creator, Number of Joiners, Start, End Date and Keywords)

If you do not find what you are looking for on our website, it could be because the item is not yet being requested by any other buyer or is not being uploaded by any supplier. We encourage buyers to create a new Lot by providing the item details including the market price that you have seen somewhere else and the best price that you want via our website. Please see Create a Lot below for more details.

3. Join a Lot

Once you’ve found the item that you are looking for and are satisfied with the price and description of the Lot, then you can join it by clicking on the Join button placed on the Lot page. By joining a Lot, you are confirming to agree with ComeLetsBuy’s User Agreement and Privacy Policy.

After joining you will receive a confirmation email from ComeLetsBuy and will be able to share this Lot with your friends and family.

Important: Joining two or more Lots in the same category implies that you are looking to purchase those two items and not comparing prices. If you join any such lot accidentally, please do write immediately to support@comeletsbuy.com providing details of both the lots (lot name/id or Lot URLs) and specific note of the Lot that you are interested in.

4. Make Payments

Every Lot has a certain expiry date defined by its creator. As soon as this period expires and if the Lot is successful, meaning that it has reached all the desired criteria, you will receive an Email asking to confirm the payment. In case of buyer generated lot, a successful lot implies that the demand is met by the supplier at or less than the price requested by the buyer. In case of supplier generated lot, a successful lot implies that enough number of quantities have been requested by the buyers as set by the suppliers.

We do not store any credit/debit card details on our website. All the payments are managed directly by Moneybookers over their own SSL/Https secure layer. We do not charge any upfront amount from our potential buyers until the deal is closed successfully in your favour. You only pay when the lot is successful. To confirm your payment, simply click on the Make Payment button on the Email you have received or the Pay Now button on the Lot page. You will have up to three (3) days to do so.

The Supplier will deliver the items only when all the participants in your group have confirmed the payment. Typically we allow 3 days for everyone to pay after the lot closes. Please note though, whoever pays first for the item secures the item in the scenario where the number of the people joining the lot is more than the number of quantity being offered by the supplier.

Note, ComeLetsbuy or Moneybookers will never ask you any bank details upfront via any emails or in any other way of communication. If you are in reciept of such emails, please inform us directly at support@comeletsbuy.com.

ComeLetsBuy encourages all our potential buyers to open a Moneybookers eWallet account if they don't already have one. Note, opening eWallet account is fast, secure and free. Every supplier undergoes strict security checks by Moneybookers before being allowed to trade on ComeLetsBuy. More details of these checks are available in Supplier Help. Our suppliers also require our buyers to be validated to prevent frauds or chargebacks. Our partnership with Moneybookers allows us to give both the buyers and suppliers that extra peace of mind that ComeLetsBuy provides a safe environment comparable to the best established eCommerce websites.

Note, Moneybookers also accepts American Express, Diners Club, JCB, MasterCard, Visa, Visa Electron, Diners Club, Maestro, Solo and many other options of payment including direct bank account transfers.

5. Share your Lot with friends and family

If you have created a specific request on our website or have joined some other Lot, you’ll have multiple opportunities to help your Lot become successful by sharing it with your contacts using your social channel of preference.

ComeLetsBuy believes all things that are good automatically get shared, primarily by word of mouth or in a more modern world lilke ours, via the existing social networks. We have enabled ShareThis functionality on our platform, to help you achieve this goal and spread the joy amongst your followers on Twitter, within your Family/Friends group on Facebook, any other established social network or even your own online email address book.

You may not want the same item, but you may know someone else in your network who might be able to save some money. You can still share such a lot within your circle by using the ShareThis button available for every Lot in the system.

The chances of a lot being successful, thus helping you make the savings offered nowhere else are increased if you popularise the Lot by tweeting, retweeting, facebooking and using other networks. Remember, if you have joined or created the lot, other than our own marketing efforts, it is you who gets to decide how soon you want the lot to close. So get networking and let the group buying concept kick in for the benefit of everyone!

Finally, keep a look out for the marketing promotions advertised on the website to maximise your savings.

6. Create a Lot

Get Started From The HomePage: On ComeLetsBuy’s homepage, in the Creator box, describe the item you are looking to buy. On hitting the Create button, an automatic search is completed and the search page will confirm whether the requested item is available via any other lot on the website. If the item is available and suits your criteria Join the Lot. However, if the item is not available, click on the Create button. Please note that before proceeding further you will be requested to register/sign in as appropriate.

Enter Product details:

Our core principle is that every item available on ComeLetsBuy should be aimed to be sold at the lowest price available but still have the same quality of after sales service and warranty available anywhere else. Hence please ensure you have researched your specific item on other websites (comparison, auctions, others or even your own retail shop). This is especially important because any supplier will need to know what was the best you have got so far and from where before he agrees to lower down his price to meet your requested price.

Providing as much information (reference URL, price and product details) as available will help other buyers to understand the item and join your Lot helping you to close your lot quicker. Also remember that you can expand your social networking by interacting with the other buyers joining your Lot using the Talk a Lot feature.

If by accident, there are two lots with similar characterstics, and both of them are competing for the same group of buyers, ComeLetsBuy reserves the right to intervene and help reach a decision beneficial for both parties. In case of any unresolved discussions between both the groups, we will decide which lot will be cancelled the buyers will be given enough notice before the Lot is cancelled.

Ask for a fair price: ComeLetsBuy is founded on the belief that if people join hands they can get better deals as compared to securing deals as individuals. In order to get your wish attended to by suppliers you have to make sure that the price you are asking is fair and realistic. Suppliers will gladly give discounts if they can sell in bulk but please bear in mind that products have a minimum cost and prices can only go down to a certain amount.

We advise to start your Lot requesting 5%-10% discount from the price you may have found elsewhere on the market. For larger items - above 250£, the group discount is even less than that but 5% discount on say a 1000£ product results into 50£ savings as opposed to 5% on 100£ item resulting into only 5£ discount. For any supplier to win the lot, he has to meet your requested price or even outbid other supplier to provide even lower than the requested price.

ComeLetsBuy reserves the right to monitor, advice and block any asked price we feel is not feasible for any supplier. That way we can maintain the quality of the Lots and avoid future frustrations for everyone involved in the transactions.

Choose the timeline: The listing period is important in order to get the right balance between giving enough time for buyers and suppliers to join your Lot, and not taking too long to close, which will not satisfy the parties involved.

We advise to use a 7-day period as a minimum to allow Lots to be opened for, advertised, invite new participants and suppliers and close successfully. In case you feel that the item is complex, more expensive, or harder to find, you can choose a longer timeline.

Note: Though ComeLetsBuy aims to cater for a wide variety of items, we may not have yet configured all the categories on our website. Please support us in this journey and if you find any specific item that you think should be available, please drop us an email at support@comeletsbuy.com with subject line "New item configuration request - Item details" and provide as much as detail in your email including proposed Category and Sub-Category and why you think this is a good item for bulk buy and sell. Every category that gets selected and a lot gets closed, we will aim to duly acknowledge the individual via our marketing effort.

7. Manage your Account

After logging into the website, you can click on MyAccount to access:

Manage your Personal and Delivery Information:

The Settings section of your Account contains links for editing your User name and password, delivery address, contact details and other details.

See and Manage Lots you have joined or created:

All your history in ComeLetsBuy is saved in your Account. You can see all the Lots you have joined and/or created in the past as well as follow the activities on the Lots currently joined or created by you.
