1. How is the Lot winner decided amongst the suppliers who are bidding ?

There are three ground rules of how a supplier wins any Buyer Generated Lot on our website.

1. Any supplier bidding has to confirm he/she can deliver the exact item specification as established by the LOT creator.

2. If multiple suppliers are offering to supply same lot and are outbidding each other, then the one with the lowest offer wins. This lowest offer has to be equal to the requested price by the buyer. If there is an outbidding by suppliers, this price is even lower than the requested price, providing buyers even more discounts than what they were looking for when the lot was created.

3. In case of tie, when there are multiple suppliers having the exact same discount offer, then the supplier who has placed his offer first will win the Lot.

2. How and why do I share a Lot with my family and friends

If you have created a specific request on our website or have joined some other Lot, you’ll have multiple opportunities to help your Lot become successful by sharing it with your contacts using your social channel of preference. ComeLetsBuy believes all things that are good automatically get shared, primarily by word of mouth or in a more modern world like ours, via the existing social networks. We have enabled ShareThis functionality on our platform, to help you achieve this goal and spread the joy amongst your followers on Twitter, within your Family/Friends group on Facebook, any other established social network or even your own online email address book.

You may not want the same item, but you may know someone else in your network who might be able to save some money. You can share that lot within your circle by using the ShareThis button available for every Lot in the system. We can only make the lot successful and help the group buy concept to kick in by tweeting, re-tweeting, facebooking and using other networks. Remember, if you have joined or created the lot, other than our own marketing efforts, it is you who gets to decide how soon you want your or friend's lot to close.

Also, do not forget about our marketing promotions. The more the number of people who join ComeLetsBuy, the better the rewards and savings for everyone. We believe this is your site, only your support can help make it successful.

Simply click on the Share This button on the confirmation page or Lot page itself to promote your Lot to the largest number of people possible.

3. Can a supplier withdraw their offer once it is placed ?

All our suppliers have committed to deliver their offer once it is successful. For a supplier generated Lot, a supplier can request removal of the offer until the stage when no buyer has joined the Lot or paid out any money. For a buyer generated Lot, if a supplier wins a Lot the supplier commits to deliver the goods as soon as all the buyers have paid. We closely monitor all Suppliers so withdrawing a offer is not an automatic process for any supplier. If any supplier wants to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances, then ComeLetsBuy will contact all other interested suppliers who might be able to fulfil the Lot. The Lot requirements will remain unchanged unless it is deemed by ComeLetsBuy that the listing details should change. This decision can/will be made with input from the suppliers and also approved by all buyers before any payment is requested from any buyer.

4. Can a potential buyer withdraw from a Lot ?
ComeLetsBuy is a platform where we are allowing friends and families and even strangers to get together and secure best discounted deals. We want this platform to be run by you and trust people will not back out once they join a lot. We are launching the website without charging any up front fees from our buyers. The registration is free, joining a Lot is free and even when you win a lot, you do not pay any hidden costs to us or to a supplier other than what has been explicitly mentioned on the website. We have made it that simple, hoping everyone will join this journey and help spread the passion positively in their circle.

In the situation where, when the Lot timeline expires and there are sufficient number of buyers but not all of these confirm payments, the suppliers can make the decision whether or not to accept the payments and deliver the items to the buyers who have paid or to reject the lot. Even if the Lot is thus rejected all the buyers will get the full refund without any transaction fee or hidden costs of refund.

Once a buyer has joined a Lot he/she cannot withdraw. However, in exceptional circumstances withdrawal is possible by contacting the administration team. For details please refer to Resolving a Problem.

Note, all Lots are constantly monitored, and any non-payment by buyers without providing a valid reason will be looked into on a case by case basis. We reserve the right to take action on any repeat patterns of such behavior and especially so if referred to us by other registered users on our website. We want to make this site an environment where everyone can be trusted. If ComeLetsBuy deems the actions of any individual as an attempt to break this trust, we will ensure no repeat instance will occur from such individuals.

5. What if no supplier can fulfill a user created Lot?

If by the end of the timeline set for a Lot, there are no suppliers who can fulfill the requirement - either the exact product spec or the requested discount price, the creator is given a chance to change the requirements and extend the timeline of the Lot. If the Lot is not able to attract any suppliers, then it will be closed and no further action is required from the creator. We do recommend buyers to provide references to any potential supplier they may want to see onboard who may be able to fulfill such a Lot. This can be done by writing to us on sales@comeletsbuy.com

6. What if the minimum number of required buyers in a Lot has not been reached ?

If by the end of the timeline set for a Lot, the minimum number of joiners required by the suppliers has not been reached, ComeLetsBuy may wish to extend the timeline for a further few days. You will get an email if such a decision has been made and you can continue to participate in the Lot or opt out if you are not prepared to wait. The potential supplier is also advised of the number of joiners and is asked whether they are still willing to hold the offer for an extended amount of time. If this is ok with the creator and supplier the Lot is extended. If not, then the Lot is closed and no further action is required by any of the parties.
